CN9-A Shunt Build (3 SRM6 + 2 MLas)
People tend to target the Right arm on Cents - Make them regret that by storing your face-punching SRM and LL in your torso. No ballistics... at all... it's the last thing they will expect!!!
Actually this does work quite well as a brawler - since Streaks and LRM are poopy now ECM is out.

2 Medium Laser make more Dmg and are lighter then one Large laser!

I think this is a great idea, but I also believe in the 2x Med. Laser vs. 1x LLaser...unless it is strictly a range issue. Actually, now that I have written it, I think the 1x LLaser is a wiser choice...it broadens the range of roles this 'Mech can fill.
Good job.

Nice Moonsavage! I just posted a very similar fit for my CN9-AL earlier today. I don't own this variant yet so I didn't even read this till Mythweaver said you had a real similar fit. What is your total damage on this?

Changed to 2 ML in torso now, max armour and fitted a 255 engine for 82.6 kph with Speed tweak.
Faster speed allows closing to ML and SRM range.
I have frequently made over 500 dmg with this build, but average is 300-odd.

If you moved the SRM ammo to legs, you could go without CASE, then by dropping a couple of armour points you'd be able to fit a whole extra ton of SRM ammo.
Seems like you'd be running out quite badly with 3xSRM6 and only 2t ammo...

Try something like this. Move the ammo to the legs, switch to DHS, and add another ton of ammo to the SRM's so you get more than 11 shots with them. That is a great zombie mech that hits stupidly hard and over its weight class.

Yes, this thing is freaking hard to take down if you use those empty arms as meat shields. Each arm can take nearly 50 damage if they are fully armored. The side torsos can take another 70ish. The key is to keep your arms between your CT and the enemy until you're ready to unload the SRMs, fire, then twist again to protect that CT.
