Have you ever thought about getting with the guy who runs http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/ and work out some way to output fits from his mechlab to your forums?

Just seems like it would be an amazing combination and drive more traffic toward both websites.

I have recently been approached by the NGNG guys but so far nobody from Smurfy has approached me. We get around 50,000+ unique hits per month so traffic here isn't an issue. I love his interface just not sure how something like that could be ported into something like vBulletin. I'll look in to this in the coming days.

Looks like there is some further progress with this since Phil from Smurfy contacted me and I've now had time to get back to him.

Ideally it would be great to bring him onboard the MechSpecs team, integrate his API into the site and allow people to work on their builds and then have to export to a cut and paste format that could be posted to the site! We will see what he thinks.
