The poking glass cannon that everyone hates and will ruin the day to your target... Or you will be ruined if someone manages to brawl you. Anyway, NEVER alfa strike with this build or your own monitor will melt down due to ghost heat.<br />

This build has slightly less sustained DPS compared to the &quot;classic&quot; 2xLPL + NxcERML (3.55 VS near 3.78) but has way more alfa strike and damage over laser duration, which means you will poke with less frequency, but you will deal more damage per poke: 72 damage in just 2 seconds, 1.55s + 0.5 second of delay for the 2nd fire group.<br />

You should prioritise heavies and assaults over mediums (you should ignore lights if they are not standing still or if you are sure they haven&#039;t an IS XL engine) and poke them when you are either sure they won&#039;t fire back at you or when your friendlies are engaging (so you can both be a diversion or share a little of your armor). 2xcERLL for early on damage / free trades or in case your team won&#039;t push and you have to help your team to sniper for afar, 6xcMPL for mid to short range fights / pokes or if your team wants to deathball as in most PQ matches.<br />

Alpha strike only when you are very cool, so don&#039;t overdo it. In any case, you probably have some &quot;wasted&quot; or &quot;non-optimal&quot; weapon tonnage, so use this build with a grain of salt: it&#039;s not about being in your optimal range, but being the most effective to support your team.<br />

No need for jump jets: unless you really want to have the tactical advantage of shooting from the top of buildings, most of the times you have to stick with your team so you won&#039;t be able to camp a zone/building anyway, and because you have long beam duration, you simply can&#039;t poptart properly.<br />
<br />
It is best played with a peek-a-boo style: poke with alfa strike, hide until you are back to 25-30% heat, repeat.<br />
Needless to say you have to unlock every heat-related skill node: every heatgen, every coolrun, every heat-containment. Range is also best to max out, so you can apply full damage even at nearly 500 meters.<br />
<br />
If it runs too hot for your taste, replace a ERML with a TC1.<br />
Also remember that HLL have a slightly better Damage over Heat ratio compared to ERML, but they do have longer duration. Depending...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Reverse engineering of an hubchback found in invasion. Maybe not optimal for invasion, but can deal a decent punch / DPS even up close. The idea behind this build is that if the target is above 100-150 meters, you have enough range to pinpoint a component with your ERPPCs, otherwise you can still deal damage to whatever component you like with short duration, decent hitters, low heat lasers, with little to no risk to overheat. If the enemy has a flamer, you should be able to perma-chain fire those cuPL.<br />

I love the Hunchback IIC for its combination of durability, speed, firepower, and mount locations.  For this build, it can peek with the left side for cLPL shots and hill hugs quite well due to its mobility and high mounts.  I prefer speed at least equal to 81-89 kph so that the majority of the clan mechs cannot run it down.<br />
<br />
For Skils, I picked up all Laser Duration skills as well as most of the Range skills under Firepower, almost full Survival, almost full Torso Speed and Yaw as well as Kinetic Burst under Mobility, full Radar Deprivation, and an extra Module under Auxiliary.<br />
