This build is designed to make the most out of it&#039;s hard points and tonnage. The intention of the SRM6 is that rather than be supplementary to the MLas, they&#039;re designed to compliment each other. The build originally had a BAP, SSRM2 and an extra heatsink but they were all dropped to give it more bite without having to worry about enemy ECM&#039;s or lock-on time. The SRM6 is selected over the SRM4 because of the added firepower and rapid follow up of the 2 additional missiles despite that the JR7-K only has 4 missile tubes.<br />

I don&#039;t usually play my JR7-K because my other two Jenners have build I prefer. But I need to get my master unlocked so I thought I&#039;d try something I don&#039;t usually run. This build will run only any of the variants but it will be best on the JR7-K for that extra module slot.<br />
<br />
I&#039;ve played 5 games with this build so far and I have done well in all of them, with an average of; 350-600 damage, 5-10 assists and 2-4 kills. Some of the kills were solo, I even took a 2v1 fight against another Jenner and a Jagermech.<br />
<br />
I&#039;m guessing most of you could do better than I can though as I&#039;m only 2-3 weeks in to my MWO experience.<br />

The idea behind this build is versatile scouting and supporting your heavier friends effectively.<br />
<br />
------------------Loadout------------------<br />
The <b>ER PPC</b> may seem out of place, but it is REALLY easy to use safely with the agility and speed of the Jenner. It&#039;s not very hot either. The main point isn&#039;t the pin point damage though, it&#039;s the psychological harrasment of getting sniped, coupled with the ability to disable ECM.<br />
<br />
<b>TAG </b> counters ECM up to 750m, but often puts you in a dangerous spot.<br />
<br />
<b>NARC </b> for those nosey skirmishers/flankers and other situations where you get close to the enemy. ECM Spider behind your team? NARC him and hit him with your PPC every 4 sec, and he is constantly lit up.<br />

Without BAP, you&#039;ll need <b>[Adv. Sensor Range]</b> as one of your 4 modules. (3 until mastered)<br />

Got rid of the missile slot entirely and went with this loadout. The extra tonnage allows for AMS and still keeps a great speed/heat/punch ratio. I really hated this variant until now as I could not find anything worthwhile for the missile slot. I have really changed my thinking of this mech now. Proof they say is in the pudding...<br />

I wouldn&#039;t believe it at first, but this build turned to be pretty effective.<br />
Cons are obvious: you&#039;re slow (I mean for a Jenner: 130km/h) and not very mobile because of the lack of jumpjets.<br />
But you pack a decent fire-power (similar to a 6*MLasers JR7-F) and most of it is effective at medium range. Combined with your speed, it means you rarely run out of target. It&#039;s also useful to deal with streakers before they can fire at you, as well as for standard harassment.<br />

Doable on every jenner chassis (I personally use it on my founder mech for the extra credits), better on the JR7-K to benefit from the 4 modules.<br />

Not much too say, all what has been told about the commando is still true: good mix of range and fire power, decent heat management (better on the jenner), good speed. From the commando we lose the flexibility of the fully actuated arms, but we gain on jump ability. It&#039;s also heavilier armored than the commando (almost full armor).<br />

Some might want to try an ERLL.<br />
I&#039;m not sure you will engage long range enough to justify the global extra heat. Depends on the playstyle I guess. Anyway, the cooling efficiency still will be good I think.<br />

An AMS can easily be mounted by removing a DHS, some armor, a JJ and/or lowering the...<br />

I have heard people in these forums refer to using Small Pulse Lasers, but unless I missed it, no one has posted their build of these.  As you can see, this build is almost identical to Vergere&#039;s &quot;Jucie&quot; except that I use all small pulses and have an extra ton of srm ammo.<br />

Why the small pulse lasers over the medium when the medium has 3x longer range and does more damage?  Well ... because when moving at high speeds I have a hard time hitting other things that are moving fast, let alone if they are small and are not right next to me.  (A limitation of my dexterity)<br />

The medium lasers do 5 points of damage over a 1 second burst ... meaning over the burst period only, you do 5 dps.  If you can not hold your target for the entire one second, you do not do full damage.  The small pulse laser, however, has a burst of .5 seconds and does 3.4 damage ... its dps is 6.8 and you only have to hold your target for .5 seconds.  In...<br />

Standard weaponry, protection from missiles, and better sensor capability all in one package.  Can fire more often than most customized Jenner builds and has strong armor.  Still has ups -- just less of them -- and faster than stock but not maximum speed.  The majority of the time if you cannot escape at 142 kph, you wouldn&#039;t be able to escape at 152 kph either.<br />
<br />
With this build I find I&#039;m surviving longer due to shooting down incoming missiles.  At least in the random matches I&#039;ve been in (I don&#039;t run with a corp, so randoms is all I ever do), LRMs are a scourge and missile defense is recommended. Named in honor of my friend and fellow MWO pilot, Frank Lackaff, who passed away due to brain cancer the very same week that my Sarah’s Mech was delivered. This Jenner JR7-K provides close support of heavy &amp; assault mechs.  Predictably, this ride works best with an aggressive play style.  So far, I&#039;ve run over 100 matches in random drop fashion, soloing, and with groups of 1-3 random buddies and this mech consistently puts out 200-400 points of damage and commonly racks up 1-2 kills.<br />
<br />
The max attack range of this light is at 400 meters and uses just three weapon groups (Grp 1 - 2xML, Grp 2 - 2xSL, Grp 3 - SRM).  A Three button Alpha Strike puts out 28 points of damage and can be repeated 3x and as fast as weapons recharge w/o fear of shutdown on ANY map.  Armor is near max with 215 of 238 and it’s XL300 engine keeps you moving at 152 kph+ with speed tweak.  AMS and 1 ton of ammo has real value while supporting...<br />
