Very straightforward build: keep your distance and fire to anything you see.

ALT: cXL350 with +3 DHS

ALT: you could try swapping 2 or more cERPPC for LPLs for better cooling and damage over heat ratio, but you will lose pinpoint and you will increase your face time.

I have on my MAD-IIC a 2xLPL 5xMPL build that works very nicely. Trying to see what pulse lasers work best on the WHM-IIC-3 I came up with this:

Should hopefully be able to play a decent poking game in the 350-450 meter range, and if pressed in the late game should be a decent pinpoint laser brawler.

An "almost-supernova-pulse" build (2xLPL, 6xMPL), but faster and possibly slightly better hardpoints.

Supernovas could born from a white dwarf explosion. If a white dwarf doesn't have enough mass (in this case, weaponry), it will eventually cool down and become a black dwarf.

I was pleasantly surprised by this build and had quite a bit of fun running it. The load out takes advantage of the heavy laser cool down quirk.

Equipping multiple variants can be expensive so in the interest of doing things on the cheap..

You only need to buy a few lasers and DHS for this one:

Hero version: WHM-IIC-BL "Minor Delete Button" (2xcLPL, 2xcHLL, 1xcERML, cXL380)

Don't alpha strike: to avoid triggering ghost heat, fire 2xcHLL then everything else.

ALT: with full heat containment, cool run and heat gen skills, you could try to swap a DHS for an additional ERML... But I'm not sure you will never overheat or override overheat safely without taking damage. Use at your own risk and peril.

Old, Forrest would be proud! You can run! You can also alpha once. Just once. However, with the number of DHS you have, you should cool down pretty quickly. Bring coolshots.
