    @Lorgot Thanks for clarfying. Tried to make sense with 4xSRM-4's, but I was afraid that SRM ammo would go sooner than I thought.

    SRM4 provides better spread and DPS but worse heat, so pick your poison... If someone will get close to you, though, ERLL are almost useless and better DPS is probably the wisest choice. In fact, if anyone manages to get close to you, you want the highest alpha / DPS possible to deal with it.

    2xERLL seems a bit underwhelming for a 60 ton sniper: a raven can easily sport 2xERLL with very similar quirks.
    Also, if you really want to use it as a sniper, this chassis has such good hitbxoes and geometry that you can easily fit and manage an XL engine.

    With that in mind, my takes would be the following (you can swap SRM4+A with SRM6 anytime):
    XL280, 13 DHS, maximum armor


    XL300, 12 DHS

    Now that I'm reading my reply again, it needs a bit of clarification.

    SRM4 provides better DPS compared to SRM6 if the same tonnage is given, e.g.: 2xSRM6 vs 3xSRM4

    On the previous build, 4xSRM4 are better than 2xSRM6 because it has better spread, RoF and burst DPS. They are way hotter, but you ain't gonna use ERLL in a brawl, so you will be cooler than it looks.

    In my case (4xSRM6 vs 4xSRM4+A) 4xSRM4+A have worse damage-over-heat ratio, worse alpha and DPS but waaay better spread especially at range, which couples very well with +10% range quirk. Also, one of the added benefits of faster RoF over big alpha is that most SRM walls will disrupt your target focus and aiming due to both screen shake and the smoke wall generated by explosions, which is especially true with SRM2 boats.
