_ 1 more dps than Penta Dakka and the same alpha as Thunder Snake at the cost of reasonable levels of armor and ammo. Generally considered to be a very poor trade, but it can perform well if you position carefully and use the ECM to pick favorable engagements.
The weapon loadout looks good, ammo count good, heat management good - but then I see under 30 armor on the legs. Wow! Would take a brave mechwarrior to take an assault out with as much leg armor as a 30/35 ton light! May be pushing the envelope a little too much. I'd stick with either the: 5xUAC5 Penta Dakka 1xUAC10, 3xUAC5 Meta Dakka 1xUAC20, 2xUAC10 Brawl Dakka
I am not sure brave is the right word, but this is definitely not a dependable meta build for the risk adverse. If you are one of those pilots that uses armor as a crutch, look elsewhere. This is more about pushing the risk/reward boundary and keeping the game interesting. I think everyone knows that the smart bet is to shoot side torsos on a Blood Asp. They are big, easy to isolate and will often cause instant death from overheat. And if an assault gets swarmed by lights, 30 more leg armor probably isn't going to save them - just make it last a few seconds longer. High side torso mounted weapons were not meant for fleas, locusts and piranhas. You do need to make sure you don't put yourself in a spot where you can get lurmed or be near idiots you will pull enemy missiles to you. Watch out for red smoke. Not expecting to survive Ragnarok anyway. Spoiler Matches from last couple days.
