I saw this monster against me in a PUG yesterday. Easily rivals the HM or 733C in their respective loadout. The loadout shown was reversed engineered just from the information from the paper doll.

    + fast like a heavy
+ 3 JJ for extended poptarting
+ very good cooling considering the loadout
    + Dragon Slayer's stock engine
    + shield arm
+ optimized build - zero free slots

One ton of AC5 ammo could be taken out in favor of a single MLas (LA) for added close range firepower / protection. The cooling efficiency goes down to 36% then, so be careful when using that MLas together with the main weapons.

    STD Variant

Born Jump sniper, or "poptard". Good rate of fire and 30 dmg pin point alpha. Good speed and heat eff.

Here are two variants of the original build, both mounting a combination of AC5 & UAC5. I mounted one of the PPCs in the left arm for testing purposes and quite liked it.

The arm mounted PPC grants some advantages when in brawls or on maps like Tourmaline or Canyon Network where aiming with the torso mounted weapons can be difficult or even impossible.

Here's the result of my most recent test run with this build:

One step further would be to replace this PPC with an ERLLas. This seriously hurts the poptarting capabilities, but vastly improves the infight capabilities as well as the cooling efficiency.

The DS can do a ton of strong jump snipe setups, with lots of wiggle room to suit DHS/ammo/JJ count preference due to great engine selection. The XLs make significant mobility and firepower/cooling gains, and the standards offer great survivability with a left arm and torso shield. Some variants that I've enjoyed:

    Max firepower/cooling:

    Mini 733C:

Gauss 3D upgrade (cool enough to make one PPC an ER):

Wannabe 732 (left arm can be ERPPC for CQC defense potential):

Would recommend the second JJ for Gauss variants, as your playstyle will be geared even more towards jumping than the AC versions. Torso armor values accidentally not adjusted, I think I run 11 sides, 15 center.

Its a typical poptart, whats much to add. Everyone and their mother runs PPC+AC/5 builds... and having said that, it's a total beast. Sturdy, agile (for an assault), good alpha, great for finishing strikes. 5/5

First few games ended like this:

The Dragon Slayer was on sale so I figured I'd buy one. I don't know why it took me so long to get into the Victors. Maybe it's because I'm terrible at using JJs. But this thing is a beast. I'm using a build similar to one of the above: 1 x AC/5, 1 x UAC/5 (90 rounds per gun), PPC in RT, PPC in LA, XL330 and a couple JJs. I'm AVERAGING 800 damage and in one match I had 1,028 with 3 kills and 10 components destroyed. I haven't had less than two kills in any match. I'm sure that these scores will taper off, but as of right now I'm very impressed with the capabilities and consistent damage output with this mech. All that damage and killing, coupled with the money bonus, means I'm pulling in a considerable amount of cash. I'm also pleasantly surprised at the survivability of the platform. Looking forward to picking up a couple more Victors so I can max this fellow out.

The Dragon Slayer was always my favorite - so much so I picked up two to cycle between when CBill farming.

My STD engine variant as the 275STD is a bit too sluggish for my tastes:

XL Variant using saved weight on a pair of SRM4+A as a finisher or when enemies get under that 90m PPC min range:

Hmmm... with the latest Patch - 1150 Speed for AC5s, 1100 for PPCs... JJs Buff for Assaults... additional Quirks for a small Ballistic CD and PPC Velocity on this Mech.. sound like this is the Meta Build again!? Is it good or bad? @Soy ? :D

hmmm, to fully use Shield-Arm/TT i think Ammo can be shifted to the right side:
