After running my Mosquito build for a while I was ready for a change. This is ultimately my least used Cicada so I thought I would try to live'n it up a bit. The ultimate goal when I sat out was to match the alpha of my 2A. Unfortunately there is only one way to do this and it results in fewer heat sinks than my 2A and a little less engine thus why I refer to it as quick but not fast. To make up it has a decent bit of armor. The weapon grouping I prefer is 2 groups of 2 and a single MPLas for when it is hot, and it will be hot a lot. As usual because of this it is a hit and run specialist as most Cicadas tend to be. This is still my least used Cicada but it has a bit more appeal to me now. If one were to work their way through Cicadas and has some C-Bills to spare then this could be a tolerable build. All the pulse lasers are fun.
I like this build. I would probably go with a 325 XL and drop some armor off the arms, if for no other reason than I currently have a 325 XL engine and wouldn't want to shell out the extra cash.
5/5, I run this with an XL300. This is nutbars with the new quirks. I wanna give it 6 stars. Almost feels unfair at times!
LOL...think i said "Class Dismissed" in chat when i died...dying may have spoiled it but i felt very alone in that match lol
I'm been thinking about trying this build now that it has the quirks. I mastered the 2B earlier this year and did alright with it, but was never really attached to it and sold it. Might be time to rebuy. I am wondering how many heat sinks are required to be able to fire six times before overheat?
That's a pointless thing to wonder... Anyways, this build is pretty for real. With an XL 340 it keeps up with anything and puts out better DPS than an MLas 2A despite sinking 4-5 tons into arm armor and heavier lasers, and as you drop engine to get more DHS it only pulls further ahead. Best in chassis CDA laser light atm. 3M still has the range edge with the LLas quirks, of course. 2A is dead. I'm on busy internet and have ultra shitty ping/reg... and still...
Most impressive is that 1400 damage was done in 8:40. Most rounds with that much damage are pushing 15 minutes. Great work, Zap.
Just did 1k+ with it. And not just somewhere, but on the Polar Highlands! Still works great after 4 years, especially with correctly configured Skill Tree.
