Rather new to both MWO and MechSpecs, so please send me a message if you have any important suggestions or corrections involving my posts. I think I spent *way* too much tonnage on ammunition, yet the idea still stands. The Supremus is supposed to be an armored missile platform, able to shrug off attackers and provide sustained LRM support across the battlefield. 13 tonnes of ammo >.< While I was trying to give it the ability to provide continuous fire, this is probably not practical in most situations unless you have a good amount of people out there tagging and lasing targets for you. In exchange for ammunition, one could use the Ballistic hardpoints in the right torso, but that would in the end be putting down more weight in the ammunition department. In the end, that's why it has almost perfect armor, because an ammo explosion would be a small nuclear blast going off. Suggestions? Questions? I'm looking for feedback, so please let me know.
Your build is too slow, and if that missile torso is taken out, you only have 1 weapon left. I would suggest this alternative.
I would have to agree, you would hate how slow your design is surely? I'm not sure of the alternative you've been offered though. As a newbie myself I hate getting straffed by enemy lights and none of the weapon systems suggested are really good at targeting the little buggers. I would be more inclined to suggest the following. It's still horribly slow but as a missile boat that's less of a worry. Don't worry too much about the lack of armour on the legs, it's VERY unlikely anyone will try to leg an assault in my experience.
