An alternative to your standard flamer-based Firestarter. It burns through ammo pretty quick but anything it gets behind is going to have a bad day.
I love this Mech! I'll have to post what I've built for it. I did a SL boat and a Flamer boat version, both were a lot of fun. Is there anything else with this many suoport slots?
By the time I got a Firestarter, it was much too late in the campaign to be using a light mech regularly or I would have given a flamer build a shot. I just don't think it's going to hold up to fire from multiple heavy/assault mechs long enough to make a difference.
My first playthrough I got a Firestarter early ish. If it can get somethingaway from the rest of the group it can lock down a much bigger Mech.
