Very close to the design of Big Blue, the ERML hitscan has proven useful on multiple occasions, and is here to stay! Can replace an ERML with a DHS to break symmetry, kick babies, murder puppies and optimally fill slots.

    I like it.

I don't know how much your heart is set on the LightEngine, but for Catapults I usually consider running an XL a fairly safe decision. Here's a potential alternative.

Gains a DHS, about 4 kph, and ups the ERMLs to MPLs (which changes the build, I admit, but adds to the burst as well as the overall damage/heat efficiency).

Otherwise you could swap the LMGs to HMGs, and leave the lasers as ERMLs.

HMG range is too limited IMO, Did the XL300 with MPL variant while saving up for a light engine. I've gotten a lot of kills with 1 side left, HPPC still deals 15 damage :). I think the Light engine stays, but thanks for the alternate variants, they're definitely workable!

Somehow the MGs do not feel right for me on this HPPC build, especially since it's only two. The bonus is very small I feel like but encourages you to keep your crosshair on the enemy instead of torso twisting during cooldowns or immediately hide behind a ridge after peeking/shooting.

    I am currently switching between LE280, 18DHS + TC1

    and LE300, 17DHS:

Very pleasing mech and build overall

I added the LMG just for the chance to crit ammo in open components and add heatless DPS as the HPPC are quite taxing on your heatscale (and so are ERML). I don't fire them for very long if I do use them (hence only .5t of ammo).
