I've started to use my Dao Breaker for C-Bill grinding in quick play. I wanted a basic, always useful, simple build and I've noticed what I came up with isn't posted here... So here's my take on a basic trooper heavy 'mech built on the Rifleman chassis: First off what I'd run if I wasn't to cheap to spring for a new XL engine and light ferro... Second here's what I actually run because I'm cheap and using a surplus engine (from a Jagermech, I think...) 3 AC/5s are simplest easiest build I could think of to apply decent damage at any range, on any map. The LPPC provides a little extra damage at longer ranges (I prefer to keep my Riflemen back a ways) and also helps against enemy ECM. That's it... Drop shoot and get paid.
I like it! Reminds me of my Hawkeye build. I run something similar on my Fafnir (4xAC5 2xLPPC) and can confirm it's a very powerful combination of weapons I'll give it a spin, thanks for posting this a e s t h e t i c build!
