So, this is my first time posting a build. Starting with something that seems pretty obvious. Hits ghost heat limit with plenty of ammo and some upgrades. EDIT: And already messed up title. Should be ACW-PRIME. Fixed.
5/5, Active probe is less useful if you already have ECM, because the ECm canceling doesn't work. You'll have to use the ECM counter mode instead. I think the .5t could be better spent on more ammo. Then again, 4 artemis launchers on a 40tonner is DEADLY. My slight alteration:
The probe should still allow targeting non-ecm mechs faster right? Not a big deal, but I rarely want more ammo either.
it only speeds up target information, so you know which component to shoot. It does not improve targeting in other ways, only shut down mech detection and canceling ECM if you on't have ECM installed yourself. It's useful in the same way as a targeting computer, but more expensive and worse bonuses in general.
I tried other variants (4 SRM6 plus 2 HSL; 2 SRM4 3 SRM6 1 HML) but this one is the best so far. The LAP is absolutely not worth the tonnage, bring more ammo. The Arctic Wolf in general can be a match-swinging mech if you do it right, so high alpha, surprise, and accuracy are key. The jump jets change the play too.
5/5, This is a solid, excellent build. I did it on the ACW-A though, as only one omnipod is a prime omnipod. No TC or CLAP/CAP necessary. More ammo or heatsink better. _
