Basically, the faster version of the Annihilator-1X "One punch man" (2xHGauss, 6xMPL, 1xERSL, STD275) and the bigger version of my previous Mauler-2P "King Tonberry", with identical weapon layout but way more armor and better quirks on heat generation and consequently sustainable DPS. It does also have a nice -10% crit chance, but I can't tell how much is useful to prevent your Heavy Gausses from exploding prematurely. This build is optimal for defense or for brawl pushes in urban environments (basically, whenever the enemy have little to no chance to catch you in the open) because despite it is capable of dealing damage at medium range (the dual Heavy Gausses will deal the same damage as dual standard gausses at 450 meters), it's no way optimal and wasted in the long run. It can't deal the same alfa strike and maximum DPS compared to the MPL version, but it has almost maxed armor, maxed speed and more importantly better sustained DPS Use this build when you expect to push the enemy or when you have to rely on sustainable DPS over brutal one-shot alfa strike: the "one punch man" with MPL has better alfa strike, so it's even better in taking out targets one at a time, but it's probably too hot to deal with multiple targets in rapid succession. With maxed ammo skills you will carry 42 Heavy Gauss ammo instead of 30. If you haven't yet skilled in ammo, replace the TC1 with another ton of Heavy Gauss ammo. ALT: use ERML instead of medium lasers. You will be able to deal more damage at range at the cost of maximum and sustained DPS. Probably worth it only in Quick Play or whenever you expect to fire more than often out of your heavy gausses optimal range... But then why choose this build in FP?
That's true but it's not a lot and the MLs aren't the main weapon anyway. Usually only an issue on hot maps. When it gets hot, I fire arms and torsos separately.
In this game i had a reflexion about laser in center torso and head. I tink i must keep maximum damage in the center for laser.
5/5, Wow, can't believe I haven't done a 2xHGR mech yet. I set this up and it looks like it is going to be super fun. I'm running a 5xML version with CASE, if you like to keep your CT better intact for zombie mode: Skill tree: https://kitlaan.gitlab.io/mwoskill/?p=jsonbin1.5c8db9c15ce1aa6d9f9e9c14#s=Weapons I'm considering swapping the arm ML's for ERML's for slightly better UAV shooting capability.
Doing it with a smaller engine and light ferro is less efficient than just sticking with the 300 and replacing the TC1 with another laser:
