so little armor scares me. It seems like a nice blend of a long hit erppc and MLs for protection in closer engagements, but I think my money would be on dedicating yourself to one or the other. I personally picked 2 erppcs and stick with the group mostly for protection on getting jumped by enemy lights. Have you used this build? What do you think of it?
Sorry let me catch up since I'm going through merging things I saw this thread again. Yes, I used this build to get through the 3M and in fact I actually have used it in Competitive play when I've been assigned a 3M to use. Advantages: - ECM - Long range sniper punch with the ERPPC - Backup Medium Laser punch - Great heat efficiency for its role - As fast as some lights Disadvantages: - Not really designed to be an all out brawler - Can get swarmed by lights easily and not fight them off - No jump jets
Nice Michael This is exactly the build I used when I went through Cicada mechs but that was based on your recommendation (which was based on Kontraxe I guess lol) and I loved it! I never really use my 3M anymore but when I did this was it! 5* for me! Best build for all around meching in a 3M
Hi there, full stars for this non-ballistic build. I think this build needs a Boost for maximum Speed to compensate the low Armor. I think its ok to drop the DHS for the largest XL Engine: Blagg Zear
A great build, maybe swap the medium lasers for small pulse lasers to assist killing lights and reduce heat?
I also ran something very close to this to xp it. This was one of my first favorite mechs, I still play it.
I thought I'd post this, but since mine is pretty similar to this one, here it is. It has a 270 and 3X MPLas instead. It's a little hotter, and slower, but with more armor and a quicker jab. I stick with the group, give my heavies some ECM coverage and have enough punch to snipe at open components or wear at someone's CT.
