This is the build I am thinking of running. I don't want to be an LRM boat but without any other ranged weapons it seemed like a good idea to have some if not a lot. The AC is my primary weapon and the SRM is for crit seeking at point blank. Kept 2 JJ for hill climbing and the odd engine size is more or less to take up weight. Any input on this would be helpfull.
While I like LRM's as a backup weapon, I think this build sacrifices too much for too little gain. I'd strip the LRM's and look at some high mounted ERLLAS on the right ST. That way you can peekabo with the right or left side, in fact use your left as shield. Go for a STD300, hide the DHS in the engine. They don't need to critpad and is better inside a STD engine, saves slots.
@Lan ok well how about this then? Little slower then your idea but more ammo and the quirks are only for the large laser on this model I think. So it will take advantage of that as well.
@Nemesi12824 , that sounds worth taking to the field alright. I would put the SRM ammo in CT in the left leg though, I find I get most of my damage to my torsos in the Highlander. It's a personal choice however, some would advocate putting ammo in CT as it's the most protected place.
