High DPS and cool lasers, backed up with accurate SRM launcher, plus max armor to try to survive.

5x cSPL can really hurt and are very accurate to open armor and maximize the damage done, hitting where you want to.

 

Edited with new omnipod for more SPL action, now this should be a strong back stabber, 42 alpha @ 142,6 km/h

 

I did pretty well with a slightly modified build (I removed Artemis and added a TC1 instead). Generally getting 350-600 damage games. Had a whopper of a game today.

 

Ice Ferret is an interesting mech. If you got the pack or are a completist looking for builds to fill out all 7(!) Ice Ferret variants, I'd go with this for one of your builds. Nice higher DPS skirmisher. Fragile, range limited, and you have to play carefully as heck, but can get work done. My version:

I would call it 'Nibbles'.
