    Before anyone starts to think I only play Atlases, I thought I'd post my Jenner builds.

    *DISCLAIMER* I sometimes suffer from large lapses in sanity. Just ask Tuku, he can vouch for this. (Incidentally, these are usually the times when I come up with my best build ideas)

    Primary Configuration (Blue Fighter)

    This build resulted from the simple desire to put the biggest weapons on the smallest, quickest possible chassis. It ended up being surprisingly effective at biting the legs off other lights and harassing heavies and assaults to no end. When moving flat out at 150kph and firing at someone's cockpit from 500m with insanely bright blue lasers, a Jenner becomes incredibly difficult to aim at, and near impossible to hit. The jump jets allow you to pull crazy stunts like flying over enemies while tearing at their cockpits, and there's more than enough flight time to take off a sloped section of terrain, turn 180, fire two bursts at an enemy, and turn back away from them before hitting the ground and returning to top speed. The survivability of this build is quite good due to the higher end speed and armor, and the tendency of lights to keep their distance. By far my favorite aspect of this build though is actually the psychological effect of spraying large lasers at a pack of enemies from several different places in quick succession from long ranges where they can't immediately tell you're the same little Jenner. Even well organized premades have assumed on more than one occasion that our drop group was about twice as heavy as it actually was due to this single tactic.

    Ultimately, this build was far too practical for my crazy mind and I decided I had to one-up myself. Cue this monstrosity...

    These builds are absolutely bonkers, but I love 'em! I will try them when I get a chance to start playing with light 'Mechs. Now, that being said...do you get much benefit from the added range of the ER PPC's or would the lower heat of the regular PPC's help at all?

    The ERPPCs are better because they have a 0m min range, as well as longer range to allow you to reach out and touch the other mechs before they can come into their own weapons range. Whereas, the normal PPC has a min range of 90m, so if you are brawling with another light, you will do next to no damage to them with normal PPCs.

    as for these two builds, well, damn, they are both good.

    I'm not a fan of Jenner's without Jump Jets or with too few Jets but aside from that these don't look too bad at all.

    Myth.

    Would work on any Jenner. Might as well use it on my JR7-K if I would ever get one.

    At 67% cooling, you can probably afford to ditch one or both of the engine DHS and put some more armor or JJs on it.

    Or ditch both to get some extra firepower. My choice would be some armor and SLas, but some JJ is nice too.

    If you want to keep the blue theme. 3JJ, and some armor. 3JJ should be enough for going up the cliffs.

    I wouldn't want to come close to use those small lasers enileph.

    Since we're doing a lot of 'Large Weapons on a Tiny Jenner' in this thread, ERPPCs are blue too.

    I wanted some non-Phoenix runs, so, I jumped into my Sarah (still need that 3rd module unlocked) and used this build at a template. It is SHOCKINGLY fun! :D I dropped the extra heat sinks, maxed armor on all but the head, swapped an XL295 for the extra .5T and used ERLL. Turned out like so;

    This little pup is vicious! For those of us who are used to strafing in lights, it's not quite as powerful of an alpha or nearly as high of DPS due to weapon cooldown, but, the range is crazy. First drop, I had 9 assists, 1 kill. Not a ton of damage (little over 300), but, good grind numbers. Those numbers stayed fairly consistent on all maps but Alpine and Mordor. I did get into the 650 damage range a couple matches as well and while I still prefer my JR7-F with a 6x Mlas (or a combo w/ SPL & MLas) this thing is just so freaking fun to pilot!

    And i absolute approve of SniperCzars statement regarding the distraction of enemys and cloaking your real dropweight.
