One of the most obvious alterations is a completely slot efficient ERLL boat.
This kind of build is very popular on warhawks and supernovas in fation play, but this build has almost equal heat dissipation and frees up 15 tons for your other mechs.

Nice loadout, I've been sticking to 3xERLL, 2xPPC but I'll give this a try. How does this compare to the stock A variant? It has 4xERLL and 5% more range over this but you have to keep the jump jets.

I found the jumpjets in the A very nice. The loadout here kinda forces you to make chainfired groups for left and right, which was awkward for me at first and can give you accidental overheat if you're not used to it. The range difference is pretty big (especially considering the TC4 installed on the A), 801 vs 865m. However, on maps that aren't alpine, this is irrelevant.

In the end I've been having similar damage scores in this and the stock A, because this has more DPS in general, but I find the A easier to control. I think 2PPC alongside the 3ERLL are too hot (though it looks amazing). I switched my collectors variant to a more meta build that I find deals better damage (it also fits my more brawly playstyle better).

I tried out the A and I think it's a little better with the JJs and extended range but only really noticeable on colder maps as you said or faction play. It's a bit of a niche but I think it can really shine in those areas.

As for this build here, it's probably better than the stock 2xPPC and 3xERLL. The stock variant is way too hot but still, it looks too awesome to pass up. I have found good use by only chainfiring the 3 ERLLs and firing the PPCs when I don't want to stare at the enemy. It's a lot of fire discipline but you can pull some high numbers providing you're on a map that warrants it.

    5/5,
Great variant, perfect addition to faction play.

    5/5,
It is a toss up on my Prime variant to go either this 5xERLL or the 4xERPPC build. Since I don't have any crazy ERLL boats for the sake of variety I'm going to go with this 5xERLL build.

Objectively I think the 4xERPPC build is probably better, but I'm already awash with 4xERPPC builds... WHK-PRIME, WHM-IIC, RFL-IIC. I crave some laaazors!!
