This got nerfed into the ground, after the Solaris update. So far I've dropped 3 flamers for a ton of heat sinks and gone to 6 Smalls, but 4 Heavy Mediums works pretty well too.
Flamers now have ghostheat if you mount more than 4. Here's an alternative: Overheat them with max non-ghostheat flamers, and do two HSL salvos in their ass, then cooldown for the rest of the match.
Hilariously I brought back the show last night and found that out the hard way. It's 100(!) ghost heat, when I tapped my 9 flamer version I instantly exploded (lol 12 internal structure on ct). What I actually started doing is running 6 HSLs (screw the ghost heat) and extra heat sinks, and I like it. 10 HSLs works, but you've got one shot then you need to fully disengage. I'll be straight honest, there is very little this does that chef viper doesn't do better now, since the viper just runs so much cooler.
