Ok, bye. If you don't use cECM, then other Locust have better bonus on energy weapons. One quirk give 30% range and some heat reduction. And yes, some give cool down bonus also if you want that.
I tried this for a while, actually found it pretty good, but the heat dissipation's too low for my tastes. Regular PPC was much more manageable, but for some reason I couldn't get the hang of it. Switched to a single large laser, but I'm going to give the PPC another try. This was my favourite version: Strip the armour! Yes I know it looks suicidal on paper, but in practice I found it really didn't feel any different to a Locust with full armour. The PB's speed and ECM are far, far more important than its armour. Try it!
