So, many of you know that I have been planning and plotting and scheming and putting together a new system; specially those of you who are on ShipSpecs.com (for upcoming Star Citizen). Well guess what? Shit is paid for yo!

    http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/JwPZCJ

There is a SLIGHT difference in that I am probably going to go with the Define R5 case by "Fractal Designs" as that case is more understated, about 2/3 the height, and black can blend with more colors like Red and Blue if I ever decide to switch out color schemes with LEDs etc.

I actually have both cases sitting in my living room

All that is holding the build up? Waiting for my cards to be delivered from British Columbia where they are currently at the NCIX Warehouse. Should be here sometime this week.

What case do you guys think is more sexy?

I really like the glossy white Corsair case.

The Tristellar is an amazing case. Not worth the 400 dollars to me, but nice :p

LOL Blagg... That is a little out there. I actually heard about this on Linus and they were sort of poking fun at it. No way am I having that sitting on my desk. Also, it's Ti fighter, not Tie fighter. As in dual 980 Ti cards :p

I bought the Fractal R5 for a video editing machine I build with 5820K processor with liquid cooling. I'm happy with the case, the fans are a bit noisy but are easily replaceable. The case is very versatile, it allows you to locate fans and coolers in multiple locations and the cable management system is pretty good.

For a simple neat case the Corsair 350D is great, it is more tidy than the R5 but not as flexible. If you are going multiple GFX cards and water cooling the R5 is great.

The problem with the R5 is that it won't fit my Asus rampage v extreme. EATX. :(

I may have to go 900D or just use the white 780T that I have. Sucks. Starting air and slowly going water.

Same reason why I suggest the white one.
More space for the bigger things inside.

Nice case been but its atx only. Need EATX. I'll probably build a beast of a 900D or SMA8

What size is ur EATX Board? 12"x 13"? You want to build a Dual Xeon Setup @72 Cores?

P.S. I know a good case from Thermaltake which can take EATX and quite a rival to the R5. I need to check up later when im home

Dimensions are 12" x 10.7". No dual Xeon. Single CPU. SLI GPU (2 way now. Maybe 3 later" and liquid cooling.

Strange dimensions. What i know is that EATX is usually 12"x13" for Big Server Towers. Maybe you have a SSI-CEB Mobo, which usually has the standard size of 12" x 10,5" (wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSI_CEB)

The Raven Case can take SSI-CEB Mobos. ;)

Anyway, here is the Fractal Define R5 Alternative:

Btw, there is also the Badass Core X9, which should fulfill your requirements. Especially if you consider to have a stackable Case.. :D

Project Ti Fighter - Mark I is completed.

The Mark II will most likely come in a liquid cooled SMA8 form CaseLabs but I'm still debating. Right now this is MORE than adequate for my needs.
