Haven't played since the Panther/Enforcer bundle came out. Infact I quit before I even received the mechs - so a year or two? I'm backing the Battletech game and so it got me antsy to come play around in a mechlab, but was curious if the game is doing any better.
Asking both, keep running into comments of 'omg game is dead' or 'PGI hates us and no one plays MWO'.
I'm still playing, all my MWO friends are still playing. The MRBC season is almost over and there are heaps of people playing in that. So its pretty much business as usual and the skill tree hasn't ruined the game at all, but made it more complicated. Also TTK has increased so damage is up and matches last longer, good times.
MWO is not dead, average number of players is up at the moment (a bit). However the player base has dropped by 50% during the 12 months of 2016 (based on Steam Charts). Seyla
The skill tree has meant that heat is higher, structure increased etc. That means that pinpoint damage is even more important and getting max/min builds is even more important. A MechSpeccers wet dream
Nah, just optimizing builds and now also optimizing skills. Its double the work with the new skill tree, and if you don't do it the mech performs like an unlevelled mech.
