Seriously though, this is the best stock build in the game. - jumpjets - very cool - targeting computer - clan range meta - actuators And on top of that, it looks fantastic. I haven't changed my stock A except for the camo, and I'm not going to. It may be difficult for new players to stay at long range, but this is one of the better mechs to learn advanced zoom and kinda low actuators from 800+ meters and totally worth picking up when its released for c-bills.
Running stock NCT-A now, just have the armor more frontloaded and took 2 points off the head to max the CT.
I should get on this shit. I love the NCT (from the lore). I have a hard time getting over my skepticism of targeting computers, tho
The TC sees more use in a coordinated ERLL trading scenario you see sometimes in open, cold maps in FP. That said, I still take the TC in quickplay just to avoid dropping underweight since there isn't much else to do with the last 4 tons and crit slots.
