I'm surprised I haven't seen this one on here yet. A nice mix of Long- and Short-Range firepower on a platform with sufficient speed and heat-efficiency to make it viable. Also, here's a version with a bit less SRM-alpha, but slightly more DHS for sustained fire. For this one, you can swap the 2 ammo half-tons out for a single ton in the Left Arm, and then add the lower-arm actuator in the Right Arm if you so choose. For myself, I generally prefer NOT to have the lower-arm, so I split the ammo to use up all the slots.
I got rid of Artemis and added a decent TC. Loving it, fire the cERLLs in bursts of 2 (Left and Right), but you can alpha once when you want to finish a mech off at long range.
Was thinking of trying these out with the sale... I've heard negative feedback about them, but this build at least seems solid... I'd add more heat sinks and a TC1...
Nice builds the LL and SRM combination makes the 'almost whale' quite punchy One thing - is anyone else's smurfy link as in the Captain's post above showing that the mech has '0 / 53' Jump Jets? I really really want a WHK with 53 JJs.................
Here's my take, took off the cERLL's due to the ghost heat/burn time/lack of usefulness at close range. Slapped on the tried and true LPL and ER-Med combo to add much stronger brawling DPS and complement the SRM-6s, as well improved trading ability at medium range. This also has several more heatsinks to help with heat management and optimized omnipod quirks.
