Well, the current metagame led me to build this beast as one of my first drafts for the 9S. Although I think that the Dragon Slayer might be the variant best suited for sniping, this version offers a whole different dimension of mobility because of the arm-mounted weapons. SSRMs + BAP offer a very reasonable short range protection and added AMS is just icing on the cake. I am waiting for Dragon Slayer pilots' feedback about the viability of XL engines in the chassis. My gut feeling tells me that this can become my new favourit chassis quickly if PGI got the hitboxes right.
This build works pretty well. I just replaced the SSRMs with SRM4s as the spread, randomness and lower damage of SSRMs make them a nonstarter for me:
