Update for max speed. I think 12 shots is all you really need anyways as long as you have decent aim. 12 shots is definitely enough to swing the match in your favor since narced mechs can get focused down rather fast. This build *might* even be enough to convince me to keep this variant.
Thx for the idea. I changed the OP builds based on your suggestion. A year ago the COM-1B could max load the XL210, so now it is time to give it more speed. I'd go for the XL235, since it`s also used for the Blackjacks. No need to extra buy the XL240.
Excellent. Tried it at the time. LOVE IT. 5 stars from me. This is a great NARCing platform. I might actually buy this chassis back just to do this as I prefer my Raven-3L as a light hunter rather than a NARCer. I should have at least one NARCer in my garage.
I think it can use some extra ammo: I'd mount an XL235 and shave a little armor to load 0.5 more ton.
And I don't see what you mean. If you refer to I disagree. On a dedicated narcer I usually use 2t. It's not only about guiding missiles (in that case 12 might be enough: one per mech), it's also about narcing every mech you can so your team know where they are. I actually find 1.5t to be few, but it would require either to downgrade the engine or to shave the armor too much.
