yeah 2 cERML are the most I would do with this build. The cERPPC are the main damage dealers at all ranges for me.

The OP builds are broken, you should update them.

I personally went with an untouched -S chassis, in order to make it as much a poptart as possible. Max DHS, TC1 for the crit bonus.
First game was on Caustic, very conclusive, 4 kills and 400-ish damage despite a terrible accuracy.

The arm hardpoint sucks for sniping tho, while the side torsi are right under the cockpit, the arms are much lower.

    I'm liking this atm :

Damage dealers are the PPCs anyway, I rather have a fast and accurate 15 damage in the close range, and less hot, and even get a TC1, then 2 ERML.

If I need a fast long/mid range shot I'll just fire 1erppc instead of 2 ERMLas.

I'm running this with 3x SRM4. Works well with the main concept of shoot & forget/torsotwist and gives a close range punch. 24DHs + 200 Ammo have been enough for me so far.

Nice thinking, I'd probably go for max DHS on that build.

I am using 2x cERPPCs, 2x cSPLas and 3 cMGs at the moment and am liking it so far.

Took this out for a spin again during the Weekend Pot of Gold event. Had a 1300+ game. Yup, still works like a... charm...

I also took another look at the TBR omnipod quirks and noticed the new "D" variant left arm has a -5% Energy Heat Generation quirk... so I bought it and will test it out :pompus:

Done did it... and it's glorious!

It's actually not very noticeable, but that -5% just adds straight to the DPS so I expect to be seeing some overall better outputs. Hope to hit 1500 in the thing

    5/5,

This is the very best version in my opinion, with:

    -radar
    -erppc cooldown
    -info gathering

The AP is actually great to have, other then the info gathering speed up, if an ECM light catches you in a good sniper spot, but isolated, so anyone will see him if you can't communicate.

And on a poptart build, you want max JJs, really makes a difference, backup weapons aren't worth all the other advantages for me.

    This build is a masterpiece.

honestly I hate taking multiple jump jets as it produces so much heat during use. Even if you're not poptarting and simple using them to navigate terrain you still produce max heat. Hence why my standard build has ERML because if I wanted to generate more heat, I would rather be doing damage with that heat.

I just used this build again in the challenge, poptarting was...unexpectedly good, considering I'm not trained at all at that, and my pc is not that good and so I tend to play better at brawl range then long range, since I can barely see targets at 800m on my 15 inch laptop screen.

I noticed very few people know how to deal with it now, since it's quite rare.

For me, the 3rd JJ makes a positive difference, I run the 2JJs 3 ERSL from time to time too, and I feel it's that little bit too heavy, that bugs me off, when I want to fly high.

About heat, your consideration is true, and for the tonnage and heat the 2 ERML are the best backup possible. I think I'll stick with the S until I get the new arms, and then I will probably switch on the 2 ML build. I'm always late, like in the wub build as well !

Also, it looks like the bonus from the TC are lost now when it gets destroyed, so having it in the CT is a plus.

    Zeus Mk.II (not-F2p).

TBR-A Left Torso is insane for dual ERPPC. Barely have to see your target to hit them.

Yar Sol... I've been usin the A Nova a lot lately and I've been tellin associates... it feels... like... the old 3D used to feel... more or less... firing from the handle, just old poptart twitch style... scary thought... (look into it). ;)

Every time I get my hands on something I like, there is the "p2w" version improving it :(

Other then being really high, they are also all on the same torso, so you are left with 2 ERPPCs when you drop the shielding side. It's also a lefty, my favourite firing side...again, waiting.

Yes, I have also been enjoying the NVA-A with dual ERPPC. It's considerably hotter with 9 less DHS than the TBR, but the poptarting is REAL. Love how easily if lifts into the air. Great build

yeah... honestly there is nothing NOT P2W about this torso... for this build, you simply ignore half of the negative quirk for damage potential. The increased cooldown time for the ERPPCs isn't even noticeable and would actually allow you to be more heat efficient. The high mounts on it are just silly. You barely need to peek in order to put 30 points of damage on-target. It does take some getting used to though, during my stream yesterday I didn't do to well with it, but I was able to pull a few 900 and 1000+ games by the end of the night. At least it will be available quite shortly, less than 2 months. It's honestly not a HUGE improvement over the original build. Sure you can lose your right side and still have the majority of firepower, but that left torso shoulder is massive and I find it gets hit very frequently. Anytime you put a big pod up there, you tend to lose it much faster :(. The negative movement quirks are also a bit noticeable, albeit minor.

With the upcoming negative quirks for all TBR energy hardpoints (basically +3% duration and +3% cooldown for each energy hardpoint) I have a feeling we'll see more ERPPC builds like this to avoid the duration hit other vomit builds will be suffering.

In addition, I have updated the TBR-A LT build to be asymmetrical and avoid as many negative cooldown quirks as possible. This version should only suffer a -15% cooldown for the cERPPC. The original build is still Min/Max'd at -12% and requires not change in omnipods to reduce the impact of this quirk pass.

Honestly, that's only a 3% cooldown difference now compared to the 10% difference before. Almost no reason to not to run this build on the TBR-A for the extremely high mounts (when it becomes free that is). The torso is still large and the asymmetry is a double-edged sword, but it still looks more attractive for this build than it previously did.
