I see a lot of people using XL340s for their CDAs and I just disagree with it. If you want something that fast just pilot a Jenner. It'll be cheaper (both chassis and engine) and it plays to the CDA's strengths rather than putting it into a situation that it wasn't built for.

This build is a mid range harrassing build. The Large Lasers in the torsos sit pretty high so you can hill hump fairly effectively. The quirks for this mech give the LLs and MLs the exact same burn time. Just pop up pew some face and roll back down.

The XL300, in my opinion, is the most efficient use of power/weight for this chassis. It's fast enough with Speed Tweak (133.7kph) to reposition or flank if needed and you can chase lights for a lot longer than most other mechs. Just don't be caught by yourself to an enemy wolfpack, however this thing works extremely well as the ECM support in its own light mech wolfpack

Captain Hindsight keeps telling me that I should have bought cicadas at some point. For some reason I never did.. I think this will be my next project.

Yep, the obvious one. Nice speed, nice firepower and overall pretty good with ECM on top.

You definitely should. Although generally considered to be bad I had a lot of fun with the 3C in the 'Fire&Brimstone' build (ERPPC & UAC5), and quirks indeed make this one into one of the best ERPPC mechs available. Go for quad MG if you like it fast, but give the (U)AC build some rounds as well. Can also be done on the 3M. Lastly, add the one with MPLas quirks and have some high speed wub-fun.
