So, this is essentially the "Shadowback SHD-2D" build but with an extra laser. It's a bit light on the armour, so feel free to drop a JJ for 1/2 ton of armour.
Ran this setup aswell! Solid build, a bit slow and sluggish, I usually run my hawks with 280-300 engines but XL, so this has some survivability to it. I dropped a JJ just to keep one for mobility, that gives you 14 slots for FERRO and more tonnage for armor. But still a solid build for the GD, wich in my opinion doesnt have the best hardpoints for the shadowhawk.
I disagree, I've been legged more often in my SHD and GRF recently than any other mech. I don't recommend moving ammo to the legs.
I've been running this build with fx8230's tweaks, and I love it. It's not so much the kills or the damage as it is the solo kills and the cash I get for it. I had one of my biggest payouts earlier; 420k in a single match. That's pretty darn good when my usual "good" rounds in a non-hero are in the 250k range and in a hero are 300k range.
