So, I noticed a lot of people saying they didn't understand how to join both in solo and as a group? Hence a short 3 minute video. Good luck. Edit: Paul stated in the NGNGTV stream that there should be a queue limit of 15 minutes. I have seen people wait for a loooong time, I only waited for about 10-12 minutes and then got my two games.
Thank you! We didn't manage to join as a group at all. I was already wondering why they renamed the groups, but didn't saw the different description in the unit tab. So a group drop in CW is only possible with members of the unit, but not with guys from my friend list, even if they're members of the same faction?
There are different type of group drops but as an attacker its all one faction and seems to be corp only as a group. As a defender it can be anyone of the IS or Clan affiliated side respectively. From what I could see. @Lan I never got in in under 20 mins in the queue itself.
Seems to be luck of the draw yesterday but as more ppl have the patch, as more units get reactivated we should see better drop times I'm guessing.
on and off 30 minutes per CW... pretty bad really. But yes it is interesting. A bit rough but still fun. Oh, can you get out of a permanent contract? I am only doing 28 days, and I do like how they do weeks and double weeks instead of months, makes more sense really, for people who want to change to your friend's side. That and for anyone in Liaos fraction that sees the light... If you have a problem choosing sides, choose the purple one, it is great!
I'm going to be dropping as solo player today since my unit has no one on to officially invite me so it works out.
Not in the same group, but I suppose it will be fairly easy to sync-drop by selecting the same planet and launching at the same time. I hope.
As long as you're sync dropping in groups that total 12. It takes a really long time to find that last one or two randoms to fill in the last spots. But if you drop in 6 and 6 for example, it should go a bit faster. But then, it also depends on what the other side's composition is.
Tragic thing is that there are so few House Davion units now that filling an attack was really hard at times.
