What's your favorite mech right now in the game? You love it so much that if you had to sell all your others you would keep just this one chassis/variant.

My favorite is... The little Locust. Particularly the 3M.

I avoided it since I got the overlord package and didn't get around to trying it till the last couple weeks since the quirks helped it. I never felt comfortable with Firestarter or Commando TDK. But the Locust...It was love at first ride.

I love that it's a little 20 ton engine on stilts and how nimble it handles.

I love the Locust's ability to hide and dash around unnoticed and be able to respond where ever needed.

I love stalking people and keeping tabs on the enemy team as well as keeping missile lock for scumbag LRM boats.

I love (lack of) rear armor.

I especially love hearing people scoff at the thought of taking a locust into a match while making fun of mine. Then impressing them by the end of the match.

I love being the nagging thought in people's mind when they hesitate allocating their rear armor in Smurfy.

The mech I love to death is the Jenner. It was my first mech I got as a founder, and my first battlemech from any battletech game. It's speed, size, and firepower for 35 tons makes it the best mech. I love other mechs just as much, but this was my first love.

Don't know why, but the King Crab Champion is recently diggin very deep into my heart despite all it's flaws. Must be the skin artwork, or the Crab Fangs? lol

Crab is my favorite assault easily. I spent the dough on MC to prove it in the 2 other variants.

I'd have to say any of my Thunderbutts. I just wish they were my favorites to play. ;-)
Similar reason as Vergere, it was the first Battletech 'Mech that was, "My Ride" Unfortunately, they don't have the 5SE, just the 9SE.

Currently, my 3L. It is just such a versatile mech and it can punch well above its weight class.

Locusts have really gotten me loving the speedy little bird mechs so the Raven is next to try. Though I kind of want to see if there's going to be a Raven Mastery Pack.

That would be nice to see. Sadly I was REALLY let down by the Huggie... what a piece of shit in my opinion. Had they made the 3L in to a Hero Mech would have been an insta-buy for me and that is saying a LOT considering how I view the price of mechs :)

Have you see. Sol in his? Seems like a mean little bastard to me as long as the quirks remain.

I wish PGI would allow us to add a 30% cbill bonus to a mech of our choosing with a special item we apply. I'd pay $5 for that. Lights have become my new solo queue farming escape.

Jenners for me. They're anklebiters that take your whole leg off.

Still my Adder. I did sell the two non-prime variants once mastered, but that was because I'm only ever going to take out the Prime into battle. With CW in effect, I may reconsider this and buy back depending on drop deck needs, but for now the Adder is 'my ride' more than any other mech I love to field ever since Clan mechs hit the Battlefield. If it weren't for the price point and cash, I'd seriously consider getting a gold one (because spending $500 to either give a Masakari package to a friend or some such is just not happening right now). I know it's weird, but I preform better in that thing that any other mech consistently.

    Jenners too.
Like Vergere it was my choice of Founder mech and I've always loved it. I always come back to it no matter how many mechs I buy, and each time I'm amazed by how much a great mech it is.

Since it has been quirked, it's really nasty. My favourite Raven (though I'm probably not the best judge of that, I've never been a Raven enthusiast).

I'd say either my 3L, for the reasons Michael listed, or my Ember, because Ember.

The TBolts were my mech of choice in TT since they were just good all-round fighters which could be used in any situation. I'm currently having way too much fun in my 9SE with 4x LPLas.

That said, if I had to choose only one mech to play with, it would have to be the SHD-2H since it is so versatile. I never liked them much in TT since the 3 JJ just seemed like a waste on a medium, but boy are they fun in MWO. With the ability to drop in a huge engine and a good array of hardpoints (well only 1 energy kinda sucks), this little mech can really do almost anything. Want to brawl? Sure. Pop Tart? Yeah. Direct Fire Support? Of course. Light Hunter? Why not.

I know I'll eventually have to cave in and buy something a little tougher than the venerable Locust ... But in the mean time I have my Jagers/BJ's/crabs and such to hold me over.

I think the Raven is looking like closest match to a 35 ton Locust.

Before quirks it was my Misery, after quirks it would have to be my Dragon 1N.

Assault --- I would have to say Banshee. It's just a blast to run, very tanky, very powerful. No arm mounts are considered a curse by some, but I consider it a gamble: much better convergence on the weapons, so long as you don't NEED to shoot up or down at all. Basically, on a level plain, it is BEAST!

Heavy --- I'm falling in love with Orions. They're great brawlers, with some really nice firepower, and lots of armor for tanking purposes. Don't have the third yet, so don't have Elites yet; but even so, I'm already finding them excellent.

Medium --- Blackjack, definitely. It may not be the biggest medium, but the high mounts can never be over-rated! I love putting a Ballistic and/or some Lasers on those things, and using JJs and they're relatively-decent speed to poke at things from in and behind cover. So much fun . . . reminds me that I haven't run them seriously in a while! I should get back to them . . .

Lights --- Difficult decision . . . I love the Oxide, and I'm looking forward to the Huginn. But overall, I think I'd have to say Firesarters. The A especially is alot of fun, as is the S now with MPLs. And the Ember, which might have been forgotten for a while since quirks, but is still a great Light 'Mech overall.

If and when the Marauder arrives, that will be my favourite mech.

Right now it's either my Hellbringer Prime or my Shadowhawk 2H.

This mech alone could save PGI from certain doom as even I would purchase it and its variants.
