My NYE Resolution for 2015 is to begin building my home up north. I'm thinking of retirement in a few years and am looking for ways to ensure a mortgage free comfortable lifestyle.

Put 3 of those together and you're set as long as you don't mind hearing the pitter-patter of rain on metal but you can do some insane things with them for only $2k a container as the base.
A tradition where you promise to do (or not do) something in the coming year. Many people set goals, then fail to achieve them. I tend to set myself a paradoxical and/or self-referential goal, because I find it amusing.

I'll be 40 in February. I'm planning for 20 years from now. The goal is to begin my build this year and finish it in 2016 sometime. Rent it out as a waterfront cabin/cottage/getaway and have it pay for itself. The area the property is in is becoming more and more sought after as a cottage getaway place because it is near one of our national parks (20 mins west of a HUGE national part). I will be using containers actually... I'm looking to acquire 3x 24' High Cubes but those aren't standard so may not be available. I can get away with 3x 20' containers. I am also planning for just me and my son

My new years resolution is to own at least 3 clan mechs in every weight class. I own none right now, so I must prepare for the grind.

That MAY be towards the END of this year. We will see. I have already been pricing out the next rig although I'm going to wait to see what comes AFTER the 980s.

Sort of my problem. I've been carefully husbanding the chassis which is oldest along and hoping we get more news of the rest of the 9 range and any future CPU's. Unfortunately it will need replacing sooner rather than later looks like.
My resolution this year? To keep off soda/sugary drinks (been off them for 7 months and 40 pounds, and counting!), and to stop accidentally teamkilling mechspecs players (I can still do it on purpose during 12-0 stomps to help out the enemy team though). Also, to keep investing in my retirement portfolio, which is already about 10 years ahead of schedule
