Best C-bill grinder (Hero) mech

what is your best mech for grinding C-bills?
and whats his loadout?

As you restricted us to Hero's it becomes difficult. I usually grind CBills with a Prime LaserCrow or Timber Wolf since they get the 30% and have lasers that can touch (kill assist) at huge range.

Hmm. Likely the Jester, it's got range, lasers and JJ's. Despite the glaring vulnerability of that huge CT it does well with two LLAS, quad MLAS, XL350 and 2 AMS.

I do well with my Misery and Boars Head but they are not consistently earning as much due to the slow speed. My Ember is great but limited in range, not as consistent as the Jester. My Ilya is still sweet but with the Dires out there only the Awesome feels like a wider target, best run in a lance which makes it less a earner.

 

Strangely I'm going to yet again mention the PB (but only if you like lights) for the solo queue as it generates some silly c-bills for me. For example I have a 509K+ c-bill screenshot somewhere on the forums but it generally earns me a lot of c-bills.

La Malinche earns we a nice amount as a quirked LPL/AC10 boat but its a lot more expensive than the Pirates Bane.

If you like heavies the Jester as a 4 x LL, 2 x AMS works well for competitions as its survivable, manoeuvarable, has good firepower and range.

As Lan said SCR, HBR and TBR 30% versions are nice for generating c-bills.

Ultimately, that PB blows them all away for me though c-bill wise.

i love my jager DD
i run it like this

and i do very well in it (i have even bought a 2nd one for CW)

but i dont know if that will translate to the Ilya as its hard points are worse and it has no ballistic cd quirks
i was thinking about using it with this load out;


i did not like the K2 (masterd it but soled it) so im a bit wary about the jester..

if its of any use this are my favorite builds so far;

in these builds my win/loss rate is all around 1.5
but as they have no 30% bonus...

Like I said ... I have 6 kill, 900+ damage, 509k+ battles in it.. post your 1E screenshot with 500K+ and we can both glory in the knowledge of our Locust superiority.

Doesn't the KCB-000 (L) have a c-bill bonus?

no my KGC has no C-bill bonus, i bought it (all 3) when it became available for MC, i was scrolling thru the mechs and saw a mech that could carry 4 Uac5's (in a viable way) could not help my self needed to buy it, no regrets there..

 

ps if i could lay my hands on a KGC with 30% C-bill bonus my problem would be solved...

its the only assault i run and i win 60% + of my maches in it (on 500+ games) (i broke elo ) i have bought a dire today and am getting my ass handed to me. so i fear my elo is going to make a reconing with me.

btw, i am planning to macro 4 UAC20's on my dire (as soon as i can afford them) its 0.5s apart so i think gost heat should not be a problem, no?

 

No because I said 500,000+ c-bill matches...

 

Why would you make a macro for them then as the default timer for chain fire is 0.5 seconds isn't it? If that is the macro you are setting up then you are making it exactly like chain fire built in to the game.

Right, but neither does a macro that is running at the same speed as the chain fire.

 

and if you are off even a bit u will get the masive ghost heat of the UAC20

its a 4 s cooldown timer for the UAC20, so if i just use chainfire it will fire the first 4 shots at a interval of 0.5s. and stop till cd is done.. the macro is to make them double tap too (at the same interval ofc..

dont know if it will work, i tried to macro a nova to alpha strike with no GH, it worked... most of the time the problem is if it screws up u are dead...

 

Surprisingly, I got a shit ton of cbills using my MLX-Prime with only an ERPPC and an ECM equipped. Why? Simple: it farms bonuses like nothing else.

Flanking bonus! Hit and run! Kill assist x12! Spotting bonus! I get dozens of flanking bonuses every match just poptarting with that ECM. I realized after a while that I was averaging over 350k per match, plus it's a light so it queues fast.

 

What are you using on that Hellbringer out of interest?

 

Agreed, it's hell. Literally. For the enemy that is.
