This is a 1920x1080 monitor... whats the point? LOL If you are going to upgrade monitors get 2k or wait a year and get 4k.

The point is - it's (almost) frameless on the sides..

    Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight....

You could do that with a black and white TV these days too but what would be the reason? It is still old technology that is at the cusp of End of Life. In my opinion you can put a bow on a turd but it is still a turd. Not saying 1080 is dead but if I'm going to spend the money I would spend it on a 2k.

2K is not much higher than 1920x1080.
    4K on 55" - sure why not? :)

Not sure if you really understand the frameless sides.. coz what does that have to do with b/w tvs? I just love panorama view with multiple monitors. And panorama monitors are hard to find..

Hmm, still you made my dreams become wet with going for triple 4K Monitor Gaming! This is sick

The point I am trying to make @Blagg Zear is that Black and White TVs are obsolete; 1080p is on the cusp of being obsolete.

Just because someone CAN doesn't mean they SHOULD.

I understand the appeal of panoramic views, especially how it pertains to gaming, but if you are going to spend the money I would much rather have dept and colour; sheer resolution powah!!!

Guess we talked at cross purposes. For single monitor gaming, sure going for the Ultra HD Monitors is the next logical step.

But since the recent Hardware would barely have enough power for playing the upcoming next gen titles like SC at max Details at Triple/Quad Ultra HD Resolutions (not talking bout if any titles would support those extreme Resolutions), i'd say 1080p Monitors are still the better choice for Panorama View Gaming and similar impressing (if not even more) like playing with a single 16:9 Ultra HD Monitor.

I love Cooler Master towers, though I prefer their taller/bigger ones just so there's more room for things to go. I use the HAF 922 in my current rig:

Another good mini-itx case besides the coolermaster elite 110 is this following beauty:

    built up gaming lan rig:

what i really find too bad is the total weight of the built up system. If it only had a light weight like a console. :D

it doesn't have Dual Grafix Setup, because my R9 270X PCS+ can run MWO smoothly enough at FullHD. but that Cube can take SLI/Crossfire Setups. But it's too small to take a Watercooling System. Would be too heavy anyway to be easy transportable. Weighs about 5 KG. Awesome huhn? ^_^

pretty fine. Next would be to build something even smaller. ITX in a Box just as small as the PS4 aka Steambox. But then there is no space for a dedicated graphic card.

Atm i'm very interested in the successor of the Kaveri Chips to build up a very power efficient and mobile pc gaming system.

or something even smaller like the Gigabyte Brix Gaming Series..

I am just wondering why sli? Single 980ti is within 10% performance in alot of games (of sli 970s) and in a few games it can even destroy sli 970s. So why deal with the headaches and extra things to brick when building a small rig that will be moved around? If the 980ti isn't enough for you and you have the cash pick up a second and wipe the floor with other sli setups. But the 980ti can be had for the same price or cheaper than dual 970s, draws less power, outputs less heat (dual cards), takes 2 slots instead of 4, performs consistently and you don't have to worry about game to game support, no driver issues, frame pacing, etc. I simply don't see the upside to sli when the flagship cards are so close in performance. Finally the 980ti clocks like a beast so you should be able to close any frame gaps anyway.

About half way down you can see 980ti, 980ti sli, 290x crossfire, and 970 sli.

Why not? Or was it a rhetorical question? :p

... but but we have a 980 SLI Setup, which a single 980 Ti can`t destroy in 4K Gaming..

but in general i agree with you - a single gpu makes less headaches.

Btw: I did chose the superclocked 980s, which performs on close 980 Ti Lvl but at significant better Power Efficiency and lower prices.
