Putting the small lasers in the arms first will force the Large Pulse Lasers to the highest arm hardpoints. That combined with the CT hardpoint being above the head. From the cockpit perspective, you can hit absolutely anything that you can see (elevation wise). However, the peeking potential of this mech is hurt because of the radar spoiler geometry and the cockpit being a bit lower than desired. Using these hardpoints will optimize your poking ability so you only need to expose enough to barely see your target, fire, and back off. ATM it's the only IS heavy in the game that can mount 3 LPL, LL, or ERLL this high (clans have the TBR-A LT omnipod still). The builds: Alternate asymmetrical allowing better side peeking (to avoid the detriment of the radar dish) Example of the mount locations: assym locations
Ya, and you had better do it quick, as I've already modified this post. I'll send you your builds so you can do this.
I used this build this weekend and cleaned up with it. The three pulse lasers just drill holes through armor, it's great for ridge peeking, and the asymmetrical build works great as well... all in a 60t package with an XL280 for 80+kph performance. A good build for someone who knows how to use it, as Sol obviously does.
