@PyckenZot Your team had a pretty nice set of damage numbers, and reds even had one with 7 damage, and yet... I guess, sometimes it just happens, without any big reason.
@dog_funtom Just following thread rules Posting glorious losses. I also stated why I raged And yeah, some played real nice, SMC guy found me and ran tandem with me after awhile. Some others,... well they landed shots,... lets keep it at that.
Marquez and I just concluded: ... "sadly we lost". In essence, our heavyweights decided to push and the rest decided to look and see what happened,... I was just being berserk little me.
Yeah, but you had 3 AS7 and 1KDK against your 1 WHK, GAR and HGN... Overall, when i look at those 2 lists of mechs, they had a much better Setup
They definitely had a better setup. But we had the upper hand until the lemming train started. This would have been such a beautiful win!
TBH with domination mode nowadays its easy to get a high score and lose as assaults/heavies hang back and seem to say fuck you I'm only here to get a high score and leave a single medium to try to hold the circle itself.... very common on Alpine Peaks, Frozen City and Grim Plexus. It really doesn't mean those heavies and assaults played well at all because they literally cost their team the match. Sounds bitchy but I'm fed up from losing to the time in domination mode because people play just for themselves. It was rammed visibly home this week with the Viper challenge as I was the one holding the circle solo or duo again and again and again. We lost almost every battle on those maps. PS: I've not even included the utterly tilted Crimson Strait which actually forces one team to go over the saddle or send sacrificial mechs that route or they can't stop the timer before it gets to about 20-25 secs.
Some matches you just can't win - awful map for me in a 5 ERML Adder. Find the enemy, call location, keep calling, turns out dumb people not using voice so pop a uav, reds don't spot it so lots of visibility on them, fight and fight and fight, use coolshot, keep fighting, get 4 kills.... can't save team. Their streak crow gets 5 btw as its the light event. Despair as this has been the standard this evening with 14 losses in a row. Couldn't even add 1 point to my score.
well f**k me right a warhawk that does 9 dmg cmon????? edit: and again in the escort mission this time nobody protecting the VIP they all just ignore him and let him wander of alone
well, even in T1 Matches you can give all your best and do some great massacre with mediocre Mechs, but in the end.. your team still loses... because your massacre wasn't big enough!? That's MWO - a Love/Hate Affair
The Warhawk and Mauler presumably got overrun by their lights right at the start as its alpine peaks. TBH the firepower on some of the new mechs is ridiculous now. I lost my entire CT (and died) in two successive matches yesterday to different Marauder IIC builds. One volley each time and I'd only taken minor damage (yellow) at both points. Boom dead....
TBH that's a good spread of damage except the afk/dc and your IIC. Looking at the spread of kills on their side it looks like they just played better as a team.
Here's a match in which the only players on my team to get a kill was people from MechSpecs (Me and Blagg). I think that says something?
Trollmode on: Yes, you sucked a little less... Trollmode off: I know that score screen too well... Really poor is the 0 dmg KDK-3 and the other assaults. It`s allways sad, when the most important mechs suck so hard. Btw in a match yesterday, we had an XL Cyclops peeking whole body over Crimson Ridge, not shooting once and then drawing back - boom dead
So.... I've never seen a score quite like this before. Over 1000 damage but not one mech I shot died. And our team still won the match.
1000+ damage, 3 kills out of 5, I made the double of both damage and points of basically anyone in the team... And they were solo kills.
