This build provides more DPS than the classic 2 UAC5, 2 AC5 build (I think the jams really such these days) or the more reliable 4 AC5, 2ML variant I preferred. I makes sure the AC5s are in the upper mounts so I can take early snap shots. You could go with 3 RAC2's and 4MLs, but the MAD-3R does it better. You could go with 3 RAC2's and 1 AC5 but I find this build has a great heat balance that requires no heat sinks or Operations nodes. If you grab Heat Gen nodes on your way to the Magazine Capacity nodes and a cool shot or two just in case you run into a hot map or a situation where you can fire non-stop then you can shot like a mad man as much as you need. As longs as you have Magazine Capacity you should have plenty of Ammo, but if you want more you can down grade the engine to a LE270 and take another 1/2 ton of each. Bumping due to 20th april 2021 patch. RAC2 and standard AC5 have the same projectile speed, so they should synergize very well (RAC2 are hot and have excellent DPS, while AC5 does not have the same DPS but will never jam) _
