I advise to invest in heat skills. Pinpoint allows for exposing just for a moment to fire your weapons. Keep firing LB10 for extended fights and yes, you could probably AC10 it. If you are going with LB10X instead of AC10, move one of the arm PPC to the right torso - that is an excellent shoulder hard point that you are wasting. It will also allow you to completely strip one arm if you have a use for the freed tonnage.
I agree with that. You could easily strip a ton of armor and get some more LBX ammo. Or at least a half ton. With that cooldown bonus you might be able to use it. The other option is a targeting computer, though that would increase the disparity between the LBX and PPC velocities
