You can make two weapon groups to help avoid this (all but TBT1s in RT, all but TBT1s in LT). Really needs favorable maps and matches to perform well. Can't deal with snipers due to Thunderbolt range limitations. Thunderbolts will do half damage at minimum range. But because of the buggy missile pathing changes, do not expect them to hit close range targets. Especially fast lights. For close range - if you have a lock, try keeping the reticle as low as possible without losing lock (this will help with missiles missing over the top at close range). Yes, you can lose lock even with the reticle in the red box. Doesn't make any sense and is a fun killer, but talk to those in power that have control of the game design. Probably try the cauldron discord server instead of the official MWO webpage or X-twitter account. If you don't have a lock, you can dumb fire them. This actually works decently at close quarters, but you will likely get a lock and will have to re-adjust for follow up close range shots. Or break the lock between shots to keep dumb firing.

Trial runs were ok, except when the team decided to reverse course and I got left out of position for a sub-200 game. I need to remember how slow this thing is. Dropped some ammo to upgrade the leg armor after the first match. Spoiler Started down 0-3 for this match.
8x8 runs Spoiler New title unlocked: Trashlord of the Special People. Not sure thunderbolts missiles (630 meters) should count as long range, when compared to ERPPC, ERLL, and Gauss. Damaging shots were fired at about 1,700 meters and the first kill was at about 1,200 meters. Is this what clutch means? Head shot early. I loaded/dropped late and the preform ran over the other team. Barely got in shots in.
Close game that ended with me up against an Arctic Cheetah that was halved and cherry red CT and a Stalker. Was able to aim low enough to get a missile into the CT of the ACH that was hugging my face and then took out the Stalker as it was cooling down.
