    I've found a build that uses all of this Jager's hardpoints!

    I've run 5 games, and each one tells a different tale. With this build, try to play as a lrm boat, until something comes into visual contact. Then unleash your dual AC2's and dual med lasers on those who get too close.

    I have modifyed the loadout, and have come back a different, more Terrifying Mech, with a video to show it's abilities.

    Hi there, i gave your build 3 of 5 stars. This build has all types of Weapons, but in such a strange mix, that it doesnt excel in any Role. For Dakka.Rumble there is not much Ammo, for a Missile Boat the Alpha Volley Firepower is weak and also Missile Ammo is low. And if Ammo runs dry the two MLs cant deal very much Damage. So its neither Fish nor Fowl.

    Play 50 games in row with this build and then show me your Match scores.. if you do constantly high scores, i'll take back my rating.

    There are builds which can make you have high scores constantly and there are other builds which make you have high scores sometimes (if u r a good pilot or have crap enemies)

    I also lead the scores in 80% of the games with my old AWS-8R 2xLRM15 + 2xLRM10 standard enginr build. It still doesnt mean its a good build.

    I'm not interested in your AWS-8R. I'm interested in showing that this build can do well in games that a person plays alone in. I'm interested in taking a chassis that no one fully uses(hardpoint's), and make it do everything I want; And I want a long range support with direct fire, AND indirect fire capability. I was running with a friend at the time, but guess I'll just have to run 3 lrm 15 and NO direct fire weapons to see if that works better.

    In the end, play to the mechs strengths, not weakness. I appreciate your feedback Blagg. But I would like to see you try this build out, and see if you can get it to work. I did, and you might.

    Ok be lucky with your build. Maybe you are the only person who can master it fully. Good luck! Im also not interested to try this build out, because i tried better builds in this weight class, so dont need to try this one. ;-3

    Yeah, I just watched the video and I have to say, I was impressed. The weapon load-out seemed so strange... 4xLRM5?? Whaaat? Then I watched your video and the cooldown time makes that incredibly effective. Higher DPS while still saving tonnage over larger pods. Combine that with the AC/2 direct fire and backup energy? Whoo. I'm convinced! I'll have to try this out. 5-5!

    Interesting. Saw the vid, like the quicker fire interval compared to my LRM15s In addition to firing 30% faster than an LRM15 is the LRM5 also more accurate? I was looking to post my current -A build for comment to see if scavenging 2tons to add +A would be worth it, but I may just try out your build instead. I'll probably get more ammo and more meaningful hits with your build and extra DHS won't hurt.

    This was my "Archer" I have been running btw. I do find I spend all my LRMs about with 2-3 enemies left on the map, but it allowed me to focus my heat management on extra dakka runs with the AC2s.

    I like the speed of your build, but I find 5 tons of ammo to be better in LRM's, Mostly becasue the quick cool down of the LRM5's lets you have 3 volleys in the air by the time the first one hits at around 600m. You also don't have AMS, and I find that quite important on my slow build, since I can't dodge LRM's very well. I also have a bit more armor, but that is least of the concerns.

    Try them both out, and see what works best for you. GL!

    Per recent nerfs, this is still a PHENOMENAL build if you sacrifice Artemis for AC/5s.



    With 4x LRM5s, you can still do very well w/ 1t less LRM ammo and one 1/2t less armor w/ an XL280.


    Absolutely troll-tastic and devastating at all ranges!
