This base on megatron with a single fusion cannon/ER PPC at the right arm the mg's are there for its cool effect(not that it has any effect) while the SSRM are its main close range weapons
EDIT: Hmm... Not bad. Could maybe use a bit more SSRM ammo considering how reliant you will be with them, but that's just me. BAP would be nice here, too.
I guess so but the truth this mech depends on its speed while firing at long range with its ER PPC as its main attack tatics the SSRM are only use when in case it gets into close it can't avoid namely against fast light mechs but its mainly a sniper type skirmisher but ur suggestion of more ammo for the SSRM is a good one specially if u get to use lighter energy weapons like a heavy laser ,er heavy laser ,pulse med laser or a med laser instead of an ER PPC thanks its a good suggestion but what is Megatron without his Fusion Cannon (ER PPC) but the BAP is a good suggestion too
You can sacrifice 6 KpH for BAP, SSRM ammo and armour. Alternatively you can get rid of the MGs and maintain that 6 KpH. I think the first is better, though.
I don't know about this. At range, you're limited to that single ER-PPC, and that's just not much punch.
Looks like it would be really strong against light mechs. Strip off armor somewhere then machine gun them down.
SHD-2H Not quite as snipe-y. And You're not going to have the Streaks or BAP to deal with the lights, but I feel it's a little more well rounded. Just threw the ER on there for the range, but works just as well with a normal LLas. Excited for this mech. Mostly made this build because I have a 360XL for my Victors I could throw in it. Edit: Fixed the lack of Jumpjets by downgrading the SRM6, and peeling some armor off the shield arm. PS: also note you can switch the second ton of MG ammo for more SRM. Playstyle choice, and honestly it remains to be seen how well this mech's hitboxes will do, or how large the model will be. I'm hopeful that it's an XL friendly moderately sized medium mech. Although I have my doubts about the former judging by the artwork. It at least looks decently sized though.
Not sure I like the last one, If you are not going to run JJ and are going heavier on missiles, why not just run a Kintaro? That's just me though, If I'm running a JJ mech its gotta have JJ. That said, man am I pumped for the Shadowhawk, what a great looking mech.
Looks ok, but 3 tons of MG ammo is probably excessive, and you're missing out by not having the third SSRM launcher. Maybe drop a ton of MG ammo and one JJ to put an SSRM2 in the head. You could maybe move the ammo out of the side torsos as well, but that's kind of up to personal preference. Oh, and Artemis does nothing for you with SSRMs, so you don't need it.
This works. I prefer to have the speed and the JJ, otherwise as said Kintaro would do a better job, being way better with 5x SSRM2. The JJ does help, alot.
I must say it looks so damn brutal if those MGs are firing together. Best Firework i've seen next to the Cockpit!
My version of this build features a XL 300 because I had one laying around left over from my CN9 days. Yes I know its .5 tons light. I guess I could put CASE in the arm with the AMS ammo just to round out the tonnage and use that las crit slot.
If you want to round out the tonnage, don't waste it on CASE, just add more armor. Or drop a JJ and add something else.
This thing needs speed and JJs in order to make the MGs work. BAP is also a necessity for using Streaks reliably. The ERPPC might work for turning of ECM from time to time, but I prefer to have a permanent solution at hand when using SSRMs. I am not sure about that additional DHS, but ERPPC & SSRMs can heat up a mech very fast. However, a second ton of MG ammo might be necessary, so adjust at will.
Artemis does work with streaks to give you faster lock on times, at the cost of zero tons... just the extra c-bills. It isn't supposed to help with lock, but it does (glitch).
