Since its difficult to combine heavy Gauss.Rifles with a popular fast XL300 Engine, i sometimes use this build to have a balanced compromise. Even for Close Range you have a good/cool efficient Firepower + enough Ammo for a long Match including Screenshaking at Enemy's Cockpit. Alternative with more Firepower: Blagg
I tried this build, then took out a ton of gauss ammo, and two heat sinks, and replaced the AC/2 with an Ultra AC/5, and it works great.
