Has anyone else experience this?? It's driving me up the wall!!! I rarely notice it in a heavier mech, and lights glance right over it. However, in Blackjacks, Trebuchets and Centurions that run in the 90-110kph range it is RIDICULOUS! I get clipped on the lightest rock. Small inclines knock me down to between 50-60% speed and what's REALLY pissing me off, I'm being slowed running DOWN inclines!!! This is making me lose my freakin' mind! I'm in a mech that should do 103, going 58, running down a mild slope... Why the fraps and I being slowed??? What's even more fun, I get stuck on the metal walkways and bridges constantly! Walking straight into the cauldera in a Treb, the bridge stops me dead, then the lip around the circular walkway stops me dead. I love the map. It is absolutely beautiful. Some of the best lighting and textures I've seen in this game. However, they do not seem to have play-tested it enough before rushing it out to players who do not want to deal with it's size and inaccessibility (I've been watching people drop off this map all weekend and this morning) and there are multiple bugs in which medium mechs are being slowed/stopped... Have other people experienced the same problems? Mine are mostly in a Trebuchet, but, I have been caught in my BJ-1 and CN-9 a few times as well.

I had exactly the same thing happen running around in a Jenner K, it felt as though while I was pushing forward someone else was pushing the back button, I kept accelerating and decelerating going both up and downhill. The gaps on the metalwork toward the centre of the map also stopped me dead and I even had issues getting out using jump jets. I have probably only played the map half a dozen times and this occurred once.
While it is annoying the game is in beta so I guess we are supposed to be the testers and bug report any issues we find with screenshots video's etc. At least that was what beta testing always used to be about. It would be more annoying if the game was at release and I died in a tournament match I must admit. I would definitely bug report it though I certainly have done this with both Terra Therma and other maps. The other maps have had most of the issues I have reported fixed now so it does work eventually. In the meantime I can kid myself I died to a bug rather than me being a muppet
WOW! Just had the worst bugging ever! CTF-2X w/ XL300. Spawned behind boxes, could not move forward. Path out of base slowed me to 40kph. Could not get over the bridge to Theta. Slowed to 40kph going down hills. Stuck in a lava flow - Could not walk back up the hill, both sides of the lava were blocked by rocks "too big" to walk over, bottom of the flow was also blocked by rocks. I heated to 85% without firing a single shot that round and only got out of the lava by a path about 1/2 as wide as my mech as I walked up the entire side at a 45 degree angle... Match ended on cap and I literally could not even GET to any combat. I was slowed or trapped so frequently, this map became unplayable. I want to like this map but the bugs are overwhelming.
plus, the JJ animation is missing on mechs with JJ. it's a bit buggy, but we've had worse on River City in the past.
