Well well, the little website that could has finally made 3000 registered members as of around 1900 Eastern time today. Someone once told me over a year ago that this site would take off and actually serve a good, and useful, purpose within the emerging #MWO community. At first I wasn't quite sure but you guys took the ball and ran with it; over a year later here we are! MechSpecs has over 16,000 posts in 2700+ threads from 3000 members. We receive an average of 3030+ unique visitors per day and around 93000+ player visits per month. I would say that isn't too bad for a site that does very little active publicity campaigns. Hopefully in the future, assuming PGI releases an API and things like that, we can work closely with you guys as well as PGI and continue the trend of being the #1 PUBLIC Source for mech builds in MWO. Ahhh, the big 3000 milestone, congrats to everyone, never know, maybe in a years time we will double that number.

Wouldn't that be great? 3000 active members would mean probably about 20000 unique visitors per day versus the 3000 unique visitors per day we get right now. Most people visit the site and get what they want/need without ever registering and contributing, which is fine as this is a community resource after all.
Just wanted to say that i really like how this site works! The subdivision of the mechs into each variant and the rating system are very nice. Those smurfy mech summary panels look awesome and are more readable than anything i've seen so far when it comes to summarizing mechs. The IGP forums can really learn a thing or two from this ^^
Actually I am grateful for those who do not register and lurk on mechspecs too. They are an important part of mechspecs being a resource on builds and information. This is also true since the official forum mods has to be more-or-less taking a pro PGI side on some issues. I mean, mechspecs is so far neutral and allows for reasonable rants on all sides. But it would be even better if they would take a minute to log in and rate/comment on some builds they have tried though, if they have enjoyed this site and feel that they don't mind helping out a little.
