Last man standing is what I consider to be the perfect game because both teams had every chance to win. That is why I don't say GG at the end of the round unless both teams were completely in it. I hate that insincere bullshit at the end of a round
Last man standing here too... Faced the Stalker as their last guy and got into a punching contest. I got lucky but a win is a win.
Last man standing, or at least a good brawl with a lot of destruction on both sides and undecided win till the very end, is also my conception of a good game. It's the kind of game I don't care who won, it was just nice to play a tight game with a lot of smoke, broken parts flying in the air and physical engagement. Sometimes a "gg" after a one sided game in fact means "good job" to your team. Indeed it's very pleasant to play with a well coordinated team moving fast, focusing fire, taking good decision, etc. I like to tell my team I enjoyed playing with them. Now I pay attention to use the team chat in this case, because I know it might not have been a good game for the opposite team. Also, in competitive games "gg" is sort of a ritual, just like you bow after a martial art round. Those two kinds of "gg" are not insincere. But what I really hate are those "gg close" at the end of a one sided game, which are actually kind of insulting.
Exactly! That is all I want in any match, regardless of my performance. [/quote] I know, but there is ambiguity when using the regular chat. Team chat specifically points out that your team did a good job. I do it every single time there is a blowout where I'm on the victorious team and never type it in the regular chat. It's the ER PPC build with an SLaser. One of the best spider builds there is. 3 kills came from me getting behind a mech and going through it's weaker rear armor while my teammates distracted it from the front.
I agree with most here, a perfect game is when both teams fought till the end and only 2-3 are left standing. I'd rather lose 10 times with 10-12 instead of lose once 0-12 -.-
What if all mech died? WOuld it be a draw then? Well, it can happen, you end up being one on one with the other guy, gets cored as he die from armor explosion, or something like that.
I have had a match when I was killed by the last enemy mech's ballistics as I fired an SRM salvo that killed him. Fortunately, I had a teammate up.
That kind of situation would award the win to whoever died last, because it's awarded to the side with the last 'Mech standing (even if it's only standing for a millisecond after the last opponent died).
Yep, agreed. One of my most memorable matches was a loss, but was very fun. Time ran out on that match too! I did pretty good and still got BM'd, hence my counter
You mean like this? http://www.twitch.tv/steelking932/c/2237354 Last Mech to live wins the match, I actually witnessed it first hand
That's my config B! but instead of SLas, I put Tag for missile support so I can do the last hit [Sniper Mode] http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=52&l=49ac1f33f08e13edbeb92fda24da33d425a81a82 But I use my Config A (ECM,LLas,2x MLas, 11DHs) most of the time Using ER PPC is fun you blow up enemies in their faces and it can actually damage both internal and external...good build
It's really more this build.. http://www.mechspecs.com/forum/index.php?topic=1527.0 But there are only so many ways you can skin an ERPPC Spider with an ECM. hear:
I don't use Spiders all the time and it's not everyday I can score 600+ with ER PPC the only weapon(and adding 2x SLas). Sometimes the average is 400 and it will take me around 8 or 9 minutes to shoot and hit 50 times hear:
