Ok, basic premise is this mech will be a Lord mech once more when UAC5 gets toned down and meta shifts away from ballistics somewhat.

I don't have any video for this build, and doubt I will make a showcase for it, cuz it's very similar to original Multipass.

It's a more legit competitive build in terms of team drops, cuz STD gives survivability that XL can't, but XL build would still be better than this in an environment like a solo tourny.

Remember to roll damage properly, which is hard since you have to stare at other mechs to do proper damage. Find a good spot between your teammates and the enemy. Supress, chainfire, all that good stuff. GL, enjoy.

I was wondering if you were gonna post it after we spoke of this yesterday.

I'm interested to try this out as "Look ma, no gauss no problem" alternative to the Soy Sauce 2. I'm curious to see what Villz was talking about in regards to the JJ thing.

Now that PPCs and Gauss are on the way out, the LLas reigns supreme once more!

Oh, and there's always reasons to jump high.

Excellent builds ! I play the one with 4LLas but have a smaller STD 275 Engine. I was always a fan of CTF-3D. I posted here 2 builds...but after Gauss recharge I had to find a better one. This one is really great ! 5 stars

I'm going to try the kitchen sink version on a 280 STD engine (I have one in the hangar, probably a default engine on one of my mechs).

Edit: How do you group weapons ? Heat seems pretty high even on frozen city. Edit: never mind - "chainfire", you wrote it, I didn't read it ;P

Right now my just mastered 3D is running this build with the AMS tweaked a bit.

I mastered my 3D using the Nasty Cat build but being new to the 3D and ballistics the XL engine made this one seem like a glass jawed boxer with a super strong right hand. So I went looking for a good standard engine build to really learn the 3D on.

My tweaks are a 280 standard engine from my 1X, 2 high mounted ERLLas and 2 arm mounted LLas that I'd experimented with from my K2, and an extra jump jet. I do highly suggest trying out ERLLas in the high shoulder mounts, for me at least it's an improvement.

So far this has been a very good set up for me. It jump snipes at long/mid/short range, plays peek-a-boo, and the standard engine makes it a tough nut to crack in a brawl. It's not a burst damage build but an over time build for sure.

I'll rate this one at 4 and 1/2 stars right now but as I get experience with this build it will more than likely be a 5 star before to long.

Played this build few times and looks like in PUG it's nearly impossible to lose side torso before center torso. The beam duration is long and most enemies manage to hit before you can torso twist. Especially this is not cool when facing clan mechs, because many of them specialized at pin-point damage.

Well, it's built on meta that's almost 2 years old dude.

    Look at the dates...

And here, take a look at this, it's original Multipass video showcase if you want to see how to use this mech.

You can see why it was good then and why it's probably not as strong now, for various reasons (JJ nerf{s}, ghost heat, dropdeck meta and tactical changes over time, etc).

    Here's another one featuring Multipass...

Study those if you really want to know how to use LLs on a fast poptarting heavy chassis, particularly the second video...

Thanks for explanations. Already I made changes to build here and there to match current meta + my playstyle. Now I'll adapt piloting tactics from this videos to match current meta too and I hope results will be valuable.

    5/5,
At first I didn't understand this build as you can see above. And after half year using it, I can say, it's a really interesting thing. Often, you really can see that enemy pilots didn't expect you to have so big long-range laser DPS. But be warned: if you decide to try it, tweak it first to match current meta.
