    Hi folks,
today I bought this mouse, because my actual mouse with 2 keys + wheel wasn't very useful for this game. My problem is now, that Mechwarrior Online only detects the keys 1, 2, 3 (the wheel), 4 and 5. The other keys are not recognized.
Does anyone have an advice for me? Can I download a profile for Mechwarrior Online somewhere?
    Best regards.

--- and here for our German users (like me) ---

    Hi folks,

I don't own that mouse but I bet you can just map buttons to act like keys on the keyboard. So map one button to be "h" for heat vision and so forth. The mouse should come with software to do that. You should also be able to map a key to be a macro so that you can make it say something in chat or auto space between "clicks" to not let a uac/5 jam on you. before I did a re-install I had a macro to unjam the uac5 then they fixed it to auto unjam 2 days after I got it set up.. fyi, according to ngng they are looking to fix uac5 and lag jam issues soon.

I know I have a Razar Death Addar with 5 mouse buttons and it recognizes mine just fine. Are you sure that it isn't a mouse driver issue and the buttons actually are working in other instances?

Yeah, double check that it isn't a driver issue. Usually you can assign mouse button mapping so bring up the program for doing that (usually included with the mouse) and check. It will usually tell you to click whatever button you want and there will be a graphical representation on the screen that the click was registered by Windows/Whatever.

If it's all working then there may be some tweaks to MWO in the user.cfg file that you can use? I'm still using an old Logitech MX518 and all my buttons work.

Oh....Also make sure you try assigning it in the mouse button collom (Second collom) when you are assigning keys....First collom is for keyboard the second one is for mouse and the third is for Joystick.

I have a G500 mouse/same issue. Using Setpoint to map the buttons MWO doesn't recognize to unused keyboard keys is the answer. Setpoint is NOT user friendly so make sure you are editing the correct profile and saving (burn) it back to the mouse.

PM me if you have any trouble. It's easy once you understand it but understanding Logitech's "logic" is not always easy.

As a Logitech User I have the G110 Keyboard, G13 GamePad, G500 mouse & 3D Extreme Pro Joystick . . . when my G500 mouse cord went bad, I RMA'd it and they sent me the G600 mouse. Along with that came the need to download and install the Logitech Gaming Software. After I thought I had completed that I was very unhappy to discover that I could not utilize my mouse, keyboard or any other Logitech device and for the life of me couldn't figure out what was going on, as none of the devices were recognized properly in my device manager, they were all listed as HDI compliant devices. I looked online and found several people who had the same issue but had no luck with contacting Logitech. After a week of finding a few work a rounds (that didn't really work), a few that returned it all and others who just continued to complain as loudly as they could. I took the path of least resistance and called Logitech and began the call tag til I got to a support specialist for gaming devices. After about 15 minutes of poking and prodding on the support techs behalf we began the fix. I had to COMPLETELY uninstall all associated Logitech drivers, software and other tidbits that had anything to do with mice drivers, keyboards or joystick (multimedia input devices) after that I installed and allowed the newest version of the Logitech Gaming Software (ver. 8.9.1 or something like that) to install, then allowed the devices to populate themselves into the device manager and verified once it was done (several restarts and download/updates later) that all the devices were in fact in the Logitech Game Software, that I could indeed manipulate them via that software and that I had control in the games I play as well.

SUCCESS, complete and utter SUCCESS! so I recommend people do what I have indicated above and if you can't get it figured out be persistant with Logitech ( I actually threatened a small claims suit for the maximum MSRP of all devices I owned plus as much other chaos as I could offer in order to gain the largest check possible in order to purchase competitors equipment if they couldn't get their own $h17 to work ) it finally worked and they got me to a supervisor in the gaming devices area and he was very helpful. Hopefully this lil story will help enough and you can get it done yourself, I indeed needed the help as I was unable to actually download the newest LGS software, they had to provide an internal link for me via email. . .

    good luck, hope this helps!

I have a G700 also. I have my side thumb buttons assigned to 3-5 on my keyboard and one of them is set to hold down 6 for 15 seconds, which I use to activate TAG for short periods of time so I don't have to keep pressing it down.

How did you set it up to hold down 6 for 15 seconds? I have tried to set up my G700 in a similar fashion by checking the toggle option for the Weapon Group 6 mouse button and assigning TAG to 6, but TAG doesn't when I push 6 in game. The strange part is that if I open the team chat after pushing the 6 button, it inputs a line of 6's, so the command seems to work, it just doesn't trigger the TAG. If I turn off the toggle option, the TAG works again when I push the 6 button.

The way I have mine set up is to use a Multi Key Function that looks somewhat as follows:

    press down 6
    15 second delay
