Primary Configuration The Brute M1 is built to soften targets at a distance for as long as possible before moving in to finish the job. Perfectly comfortable in long to mid-range combat, the Brute needn't flee should the enemy close distance... So long as they have been sufficiently damaged before engaging. If the worst comes to pass and the Brute is disarmed, it can still support its allies using a head-mounted TAG. Alternate Configuration A This loadout is the same as the above however it also adds Endo Steel internals allowing you to place 2 more single heat sinks and a little more armor. It costs a bit more but it's worth it!

Okay I'm loving this thing I'm a Brawler not a sniper so I took it up close and personal.. 4 kills 3 assists 1 Atlas Killed 2 Awesomes Killed 1 Commando Killed Barely used my Medium Lasers.... Had them Chain Firing on 1... Didn't really miss not having anything in my head weapon or TAG wise.. I brawled with support of course I stayed with our heavies to support them... Gauss shredded components! I suppose it would be good for sniping but get in there and fight with it and you won't be let down
I'm sure Lazn will be on later today and get all his builds tweaked. I'm working on Tweaking a JR7-K as well. It'll be tweak time over the next couple of days.
It should still work... They moved the cockpit weight into the engine weight, so the base weight of every 'Mech was lowered by 3 and most engine weights went up by 3 (except for the very small engines) Basically a slight buff to offset the huge nerf smaller engines received. (You need 10 heatsinks, so you can't just drop to a 100 engine to save weight, you'd need to add 6 heatsinks... Kinda sucks for engines that are very small) Regardless, I'm redoing a lot of my builds for this patch. Will be done tonight.
I tried to build it.. but I only had room for 2 tons of gauss ammo and gauss in right torso. No room for other ton, heatsink and CASE I set armor all the same and everything else fit (I had no TAG in head, left it empty) I built this before but no go this time.... but then again the 4G seemed bugged because I tried 2 different configs after that and once I got in battle I found out they didn't stick and had only 2 medium lasers.... I had to sell it because I couldn't put anything on it.. Trying to send in ticket but just getting on the site is touch and go right now.
Looks quite solid... except AFAIK you don't need CASE with GAUSS ammo... so you can lose that. - Finuc -
You need CASE for the weapon itself, it has the potential to explode if damaged. Source: http://mwowiki.org/wiki/index.php?title=Gauss_Rifle
Move ammo into the legs, save the CASE room. IMHO worth it. Even with the weapon blowing up. Either way, ammo in legs peeps, always there. Who bothers to leg a Hunchy?
I like this build, thanks. The only thing I'd change is go with Double Heat Sinks and Endosteel to get a Standard 210 in there for a little extra speed and full armor (besides the legs at 39 each).
You do realize that Gauss ammo does not explode and that there's no other function to the 4G's right torso other than housing the gun. It's not like there's some other gun on this 'mech that'll use the gauss ammo, it may as well go up with the torso.
